Chez Ami is a beautiful French Norman style house in Atherton, CA. It was recently an Honorable Mention in the inaugural Julia Morgan Award. We were very proud to be a major contributor to this magnificent renovation.
We had our hands in nearly every corner of the renovation from the leaded glass in his dressing room, to the antiqued mirror in the exercise room to the beveled glass in the entry door.
Here are some highlights.
There are Crittal windows throughout much of house including logia, kitchen, dining room, family room and master bath. We glazed all of these with laminated glass, leaded glass and CNC machined aluminum panels.
We created our most intricate hand beveled window ever for the master bath. It consists entirely of approximately 100 pieces of hand-beveled glass.
We designed and had built an aluminum frame for the master shower and installed leaded glass in it.
We installed custom beveled glass in the entry, foyer and pool house doors.
We installed 126 curved and laminated glass panels in the curved alcove.
We designed, fabricated and installed a fleur-de-lis themed leaded window in the powder room.
We had antiqued mirror fabricated for the entire wall of a third floor bathroom and the entire wall of the exercise room.
The architect who won the award is Gordon and Greineder
